⌨️Prompting and Ranking
Learn how to effectively prompt Kandel to return the best candidates.
How We Search.
Kandel empowers you by giving you access to 800M+ profiles. We use AI to find the most relevant results for you. Using Kandel, you can search in two different ways:
Finding candidates using natural language.
Find candidates using natural language filters.
Searching Using Natural Language.
Let's say my name is Ed. I am a hiring manger at Ward Industries and I am looking for a candidate that matches these skills.
Software Engineer
Located in Lisbon
2 years of experience working with Java
You can cover all of these criteria, by inputting these query into Kandel.
"Software Engineer with 2 years Java experience in Lisbon"
Kandel breaks the query up to understand what is being looked for then returns the relevant profiles.
Alternatively you could use our filters, this has to be done in natural langugage. We have this options for users who feel more comfortable using filters. To create a filter prompt you should separate all of the key information with a comma for example...
"Software Engineer, java, 2 years, Lisbon
Both search queries will bring back the same results. You can use this method off prompting if you have several parameters you are looking for.
Ranking.
Kandel's algorithm automatically shows you the most relevant profiles (number of profiles is dependant on your plan). If your plan is limited to let's say 100 profiles per search, Kandel will return to you the most relevant 100 candidates to you.
